But I finally found a good S7 MB. It's quite cryptic signature: Elpina BAE-VO but I guess it looks like a PC-Chips. Chipset has big letters PC100 AGPPro but it's identified as VIA Apollo VP3 82C598AT, better than ALi 😀 It has AT/ATX power, AGP, 3*SDRAM, 1MB L2... It detected Tillamook correctly, allows to set Vcore for 2.1V and VIO hardwired to 3.5V. It runs fine at 85*4MHz and provide much higher memory badwidth to AGP or PCI VGA card. Due to this I got significant speed up in Quake at 640x480 to 21.7FPS. Next possible FSB step is just 100MHz without side steps. The CPU POST at leas with 2.7V but it's not stable even at 2.9V. It boot at DOS but hangs/crash in a secocd when I try to type a command there. On other MBs I hadn't luck at 100MHz too so it seems to be the limit of my piece. Maybe with peltier cooling it could do it but i don't want stress it with high voltage much more... I think it's good result compared to K6-2 500 I got before...
My ppga tillamooks will all do 100x4 does yours not? I haven’t done much testing with the film chip tillamooks. Curious how those overclock
