I've build my own WeeCee with PCI support and added a nice pci video card but im still limited by missing MMX and Directx support. Has anyone found a SOM with MMX support? I found some old gambling box computers with pentium SOMs but there is no documentation so I would need to reverse engineer 🙁.

The goal is a VERY small MMX retro box.

This SOM looks like it has CPU, Ram, and chipset at ~3x5". The CPU is a SL8MM so lots of MMX options in the family. I figure 60 hours to figure out the pinout.

I found a bunch of Intel schematics.
I'd suggest trying to build a s370 board.
I expect there would be reasonably broad interest.
If you'd prefer not to have agp/pci/ISA on board, perhaps an edge connector to break out?
