I recently bought a Dell Optiplex 7010 to run XP on, and it came with a Radeon 7570. Seems like it's the Dell OEM version, 1GB DDR5. Temps on the card are very good for its size, so I figured I'd try to make it work with XP. Found a couple of drivers that worked, but I'm having a big issue. When displaying lower resolutions like 640x480 the screen is incredibly distorted. There's an overlay of wavy colors like pink and green flickering and shimmering over the image at all times. At higher resolutions the card performs as expected, though I do notice screen tearing on the desktop that the Intel graphics don't have. There is no Catalyst control panel installed by my drivers.
When the drivers are uninstalled, the low resolutions work fine. I don't have exact numbers for the driver versions (must be in the file names I assume) but the files I used are the following: "AMD_(ATI)-9.000.300.0000.zip" and "icafe-winxp-9.00.300.3010-beta1-br294594-sep24". I'm curious to see if anyone else has experienced this issue, or if anyone can help me find a better driver for this. Searched all over the place and these two were the only ones I could get working.
