Hi! At least in Monkey Island my Roland SC-55 works in MT-32 mode . But i'm not sure if the music sounds really like a MT-32 because to me the music seems a little off in the first bar in the game vs my sound blaster 16 with a real yamaha opl3.

I never heard it with a real MT-32.

Anyway in faceoff i have no music at all in MT-32 mode. If you know any trick to get my sc-55 play the faceoff music in MT-32 mode please let know. Maybe a patch exist.

Thanks for answer

Faceoff will attempt to use any MIDI device present on port 330 (including SC-55 in MT-32 mode), which means it's probably just disagreeing with your Sound Blaster 16's implementation of the MPU401.

Depending on your system's specs, it may work if you slow it down using a tool like SLOWDOWN.COM since older games (like faceoff from 1989) can sometimes have speed-sensitive hardware detection routines.
