I've followed all the steps here to patch my game:

The process was clearly succesful, as my game used all the new key bindings, such as SHIFT to jump. The only thing that doesn't work is mouselook. It says to toggle it you need to press ` (Backquote). I do that, but nothing happens.

What am I doing wrong? Why was everything else changed except for the mouselook toggle?

I realise this should be obvious, but you're hitting the `~ key next to 1, right?

Yes, of course, I'm hitting that key.

I tried it by pressing Alt at the same time as you suggested, but that doesn't do anything, either.

The only thing I can suggest is to try again with an exe fom a different source in case yours is corrupt.

Or build it on your own machine and try.

Or find one that's already patched.
