Dreamblaster S2 not working on PicoGUS

The S2 works on a Soundblaster 16 and the PicoGUS works as well. But when I plug the S2 onto the PicoGUS there‘s no music. Both in GUS and in SB mode.
Am I doing something wrong here?

Must be a configuration problem. I have tested a S2 to work on the PicoGUS in AdLib mode (though I have not tested in GUS or in SB modes though it should work just the same as all 3 emulate the same "dumb" MPU401 to my understanding)

Mpu originally was supported by its own firmware are you sure you have the new combined one?

I didn’t know there was an upgrade. Installed it and now it works.
