So I'm still curious if there's a way I could use one of my modern computers or maybe a Raspberry PI as a bridging proxy for older computers?
For example, let's suppose I want to access vogons from my 120mhz pentium laptop. But it requires encryption. The laptop is tied into a secondary router acting as an access point to my main router that's connected to the internet.
So my laptop ties into my desktop, which negotiates the encryption, connects to the website, then strips the encryption in the return and feeds the raw html, etc back to the laptop?
Looks like a program called "Fiddler Everywhere" might do what I'm looking for.
Has anyone figured this out yet? Am I searching for something already accomplished?
