gidierre, I already have DOSbox's drive c:\ mounted as oldgames. Here is a screenshot of my DOSbox's screen when I first start DOSbox: it's DOSbox's c:\ drive. And Dominus, I ask you to please trust me and believe me when I say I'm following your guide. I've even printed it out and fastioned the pages together into a book so I'll have it handy when I have to refer to it. Right now I'm looking at Page # 8 of my printout of your guide where you're showing how to install the video driver in windows. I'm looking at your screenshots on the printout (pg 😎 where the top screenshot has "VGA" highlighted, the top middle screenshot has "Other (requires disk provided by a hardware manufacturer)" highlighted, the bottom middle screenshot has "C:\drivers\s3" highlighted, and the bottom screenshot has "s3 864 1.4185 1024x768 64k colors sf" highlighted.
