Hello I finally gat around to trying to fix a GUS MAX rev 1.8 I picked up a few years back. After some messing about I started looking over the board again and noticed that it is missing the Y1 crystal next to the GF1 chip so I was wondering if someone was able to give me the value of this component?

Finally had a chance to pull out the MAX. Here are the crystals: Y1 is 19.7568 MHz (Ecliptek ECX-1689), Y2 is 24.576 MHz (Ecliptek EC246), Y3 is 16.9344 MHz (Ecliptek EC169). Hope that helps!"

The GF1 clock is a bit special, the value isn't a common thing but it is 448 * 44100 = 19.7568MHz.

In past some people have used a different crystal with positive results (19.8MHz can be bought new for example), but it does change pitch and timing of things slightly and maybe there's something out there that will be upset by that...

Probably just window shopping these days, but if you're in Russia: https://www.quartz1.com/price/model.php?akt=9199.03

Not sure if polpo still has some, or sold them off already on Ebay or Tindie by now:
