I have some older Dell Optiplexes from the late 2000s that still have Win2k driver support, both official and unofficial. In the case of the former the iGPU outright sucks, in the latter the drivers for it perform poorly in games. Was interested in throwing a low-profile GPU into this thing, but I can't find any that are decent and still have Win2k driver support. I do have some Dell Radeon 7570 cards that may work with unofficial drivers, but I'd rather not install extended kernel solely for the GPU. I have access to PCI-e and regular PCI only, no AGP. 255W PSU. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks

GeForce GT 220 has low profile versions and works with the 258.96 driver. As always, beware of cost-reduced cards with slow RAM (ideally it should have 128-bit GDDR3).

I also saw a 9800GT low profile version, but that might stress the PSU too much.

Best low profile GPU for unpatched Win2k is Sparkle GTS 250
If you are limited by PSU, that would be a low-profile GeForce GT 240.
