Hello, I was watching on ebay for some nice boxed version of OS2, the latest version in italian it seems to be the warp 3, but it seems there is an english version of warp 4 too in english.
I found several listings on ebay sold from UK but they seem quite sketchy and not original at all, do anyone know if this thing is original?

Hi, not sure. There's at least an update of Italian Warp 4.

Wow good hit! It seems an upgrade version though.

I'm watching the listings of that seller and it seems very sketchy.

Looks original.

Also, can't believe that the last Italian version was Warp 3...
I recall using Polish version of Warp 4 back in the era, and Italian was more popular than Polish.
However, Warp 4 was less common than Warp 3 - that must be why it's hard to find a particular version of Warp 4 now.

I don't know if that's original, obviously it's a pretty bad photo. Perhaps it'd be worth asking the seller for a better photo, they might provide one. In fact, perhaps rather than just ask for a better photo, you could ask for a photo of the back of the box, or something else they didn't include, so it's less obvious that you are just looking to confirm that they really have the item vs. they just copied the photo from somewhere else.

I'm not sure if this is related to why you're concerned, but one thing I do want to point out is that just because the box doesn't look identical to one you've seen elsewhere doesn't mean that it's a counterfeit product or a made-up image: in my experience, packaging from major software and game vendors back in those days was printed in various countries, and they could look significantly different between countries. I've seen US vs. UK versions that differ in terms of the picture, fonts, colours, stickers and blurbs on the box, and with similar differences in manuals including very different paper, glossy vs. matte covers, etc. Or maybe it's just that whenever I've seen US vs. UK/other country versions of the same thing, they weren't made at the same time, and all these things evolve over the lifetime of products, or I've seen a lot of counterfeit software 😁

I asked for picture to the seller, he never replied, I had the very same concerns that you mention, the picture is bad and not coherent with the others I've been able to find online, in my opinion is just a scammy seller that sell copied software.
