Baldies on Vista

I just got Baldies for Windows 95. I mount the baldies directory, and try to run baldies.exe. Nothing happens except the dosbox console prints the message:

this is a Windows NT windowed executable

I am currently running on Windows Vista

is there something i need to set up or configure in DosBox?, or is this a known issue with the game Baldies?

As one newbie (that did lurk here some before making my first post) to another: asking for help with a game from an abandonware site is frowned upon a lot to put it mildly.

You are trying to run a Win95 game inside an emulator called DOSBox that emulates a.....guess what.... DOS environment.

You do the math!

thought that would include MS-DOS. My mistake, and I guess I was not aware of the whole abandonware issue. I did not do my reading. Thanks anyways.
