Knights of the Old Republic
It was even intended to be a trilogy, but we got The Old Republic Online instead of a KOTOR3.

Rattling off a few more as I peruse my library.

Mech Commander 3 - The first two were fantastic, but Battletech just died as a franchise for about 15 years after Mechwarrior 4/Mech Commander 2. I guess we did eventually get HBS Battletech, which was even developed by a lot of the same people as Mech Commander. But it's not the same.

Kohan 3 - Kohan was a sleeper hit with me. I discovered it a few years after it came out and absolutely fell in love with it. The sequel a bit less so, but I still enjoyed it. I donno, maybe the formula was played out, but I still would have liked more.

There are a smattering of others. I wish we got the Black Isle version of Fallout 3 instead of the Bethesda one. Or the old school Bioware version of Baldur's Gate 3 I heard rumors about.

Win95/DOS 7.1 - P233 MMX (@2.5 x 100 FSB), Diamond Viper V330 AGP, SB16 CT2800
Win98 - K6-2+ 500, GF2 MX, SB AWE 64 CT4500, SBLive CT4780
Win98 - Pentium III 1000, GF2 GTS, SBLive CT4760
WinXP - Athlon 64 3200+, GF 7800 GS, Audigy 2 ZS

Laura Bow, there are two good classic Sierra games, being the Dagger of Amon Ra (the second one) a really compelling master piece in his own investigation subgenre .

Elvira 3, even more gruesome deaths 😁 WaxWorks was ok, but Elvira's lore was way cooler.

There was never a proper sequel to Tribes 2 (in terms of continuity) and for that matter Tribes 2 didn't even ship with the "singleplayer campaign" that was promised in early advertisement trailers...
