Hi! I've been trying to run an old game I programmed back in 1994 (never released on the Internet) but unfortunately sound doesn't work and sound was a very important part of my game 😀

It was programmed in GW-BASIC, so since it didn't have very good graphics and sound capabilities, I used some external tools called using the "Shell" instruction. One of them was a player tool that showed animations made in Autodesk Animator in FLI format with background sound in VOC format. Unfortunately sound doesn't work even though all other games sound just fine.

In a real PC with a Sound Blaster Pro it worked fine. Is there a way to file a bug for DosBox anywhere?

Thank you!

Did your program support different IRQs for the soundblaster (as sb pro could be configured with IRQ 5) ? Otherwise try changing the emulated irq to 5. Otherwise, maybe make the game available for us to check it out, as we can't do much without the game in question
