Hi! I am trying to get my old DOS laptop at my mother's house to work and am trying to install a hard drive on it. Now, I have a set of MS-DOS 6.2 install disks, but IIRC, one of them has a bad sector. Therefore, I need to create new ones but v. 6.22. The problem is that WinImage is not burning the floppies. 🙁 I remember getting it to work once before but don't remember how. Any advice? I have the Shareware version, but the trial period isn't over.

Hi, is the disk image the problem?
If so, it's possible to change disk format in WinImage (360k, 720k, 1,44mb etc).
Setting the disk image to 1,44 maybe fixes issues with non-standard disk images (some are a few bytes larger than 1,44).
You can select 1,44 even if the image claims to be 1,44 already.

I actually got it to work, but now I'm getting verify errors, and when I tried a disk, it was corrupt. 🙁 Also, the condition I needed for the disks didn't happen. The laptop I'm trying to set up isn't detecting the hard drives I tried to install. The laptop is an NEC Versa 2000D.
