Hi
I've come across too many guides involving getting Little Big Adventure to work under DOSBox, but I need some help with getting it to work properly under DOS. So far, no games have been an issue that I've set up in DOS, but this one currently is. The game loads up, the cinematics work, I can get to the main menu, but when getting to the part the narrator talks, I just get images and no text or speech. After the cinematic, the game freezes up and I get a black screen. The audio gets stuck in a repetitive loop, too.
I'm guessing it's down to the settings during installation, but I'm a bit lost with what to select. Out of all the video card options, the only one I presumed was the best choice was VESA Compatible. All the others listed I'm not familiar with at all. And the few I have tried just give me a messed up image. For music and sound effects, I've picked MT-32/MIDI and Soundblaster 16 as usual. I've also had all the voices installed to the HDD, so I'm not sure why the speech isn't working.
Anyone have had any luck with this? Thanks.
