do the banks also work on an X2GS SE ?

edit:

assume that the se variant is compatible with the x2 it is probably possible?
I think a soundbank for CM-32L is important, is something like that in the works?

As it turns out, Creative actually made a dedicated SF2-to-hardware thing called Silicon SoundFonts in Section 11 of the SoundFont spec, and my fix of the documentation, plus a reference file, is here: https://github.com/stgiga/siliconsfe/tree/main

I and some other devs have extended SoundFonts into something called SFe, available at

https://github.com/SFe-Team-was-taken/SFe/releases/tag/4.0

We also factor in this feature too.

I'm Nonbinary and neurodivergent.
I use they/them. It can also be written as ᵺ㏟.

is there a yamaha xg soundbank for the X2GS SE? Or does this mean the Yamaha GM Unfinished? If so, what does unfinished mean? How good is it compared to the MU50 or MU80 etc?

Hi everyone,
I recently got a DreamBlaster X16 and I'm trying out different banks with it
One SoundFont I'm curious about is FluidR3 - it's the default in a lot of Linux setups, and used in programs like MuseScore as well. Would be interesting to hear how it sounds on the X16.
It's available here: https://member.keymusician.com/Member/FluidR3_GM/index.html

Has anyone already converted this to a format that works with the X16?
Would really appreciate it if someone could share a compatible version.
