No, you can do a save before or after HDD test.

Temple of the llama or something like that.
Anyway, with a modified fridge, filled with vodka they got a 486 over 200mhz Iirc.
It's an ancient memory and I recall it seeming legit enough at the time.

I remember reading that fanciful recounting back in ye olde times.

I was able to overclock an 486SX16 to 60mhz on a PCCHIPS board.

Still wasn’t really worth it outside a novelty even at the prices of a 5x86 at the time
