Hmm its strange url is completely different than mine from up to date Google Chome:

Your, that one is working for me fine too:
https://download.adaptec.com/scsi/eprom_bios/ … R_bios_4300.exe
My link:
https://storage.microsemi.com/en-us/speed/scs … os_4300_exe.htm

Whole sequence:
https://storage.microsemi.com/en-us/support/scsi/ // Crossroads
https://storage.microsemi.com/en-us/support/s … 0/asc-29320a-r/ // Selecting one controller
https://storage.microsemi.com/en-us/downloads … d+29320a-r.html // Selecting file to download
https://storage.microsemi.com/en-us/speed/scs … os_4300_exe.htm // Here im gettings 404, url looks a bit suspicious, spaces are proven to be problemati and *. exe.htm is strange

I tried the trick, use your url and change just target filename for some file from my failed download link and glue it together and it worked:
Url which i was getting: https://download.adaptec.com/scsi/eprom_bios/ … r_bios_4300_exe

Url based on your link adjustment:
https://download.adaptec.com/scsi/eprom_bios/ … r_bios_4300_exe // You need to remove .htm and _ etc the end.. and replace https://storage.microsemi.com/en-us/speed/ with https://download.adaptec.com/

Its only for bioses.. other files you would be to replace "eprom_bios" string to and its pita to download files this way.

So I was just uploading a few Creative X-Fi drivers and utilities to Vogonsdrivers and the site suddenly went down. Anyone know what's going on?

I found an old Public Domain Info Utility from 1992:

INFOPLUS Version 1.56

https://www.vogonsdrivers.com/getfile.php?fileid=2235

Nice, thanks ! Used it decades ago along with Buerg's "List" (still use List on older OS and boot floppies)

Hate posting a reply and then have to edit it because it made no sense 😁 First computer was an IBM 3270 workstation with CGA monitor. Stuff: https://archive.org/details/@horun

Windows 98 SE last Unofficial SP3 updates pack updates descriptions in update filenames:
- I did it just for myself, i could be handy for others, its just 67 MB, i would be nice to add it to library, because my memory get worse every day, i started to create more and more descriptive filenames, its better than update.exe or 48.zip for 48BitLBA 128GB disks+
- Its simply extracted pack of all USP3, where instead of kbXXXXX.exe is kbXXXX- uppdate description.exe, which could be very handy, if you want to control which you are installing.
- description source, here you can ask for updates details too: https://msfn.org/board/topic/84886-the-comple … #comment-574893
- some these updates could be problematic, there is also info, about which update is official (probably better tested) and which is not
- If update needs reboot its in filename too, if update not ask for confirmation before installing, there is such info.
- Also updates, which are replaced by some better newer version are in special directory and you should need it only rarely. Because when updates are just in some pack or have not proper info, people are often replacing newer updates by older ones..
- If original USP installer installed updates in second wave after reboot, such updates are in special directory, also major updates have its directory

Here is example, what i mean:

Hi

I wanted to contribute and gathered some data (manuals and drivers) about three retro cards: one display adapter and two I/O controllers. I still cannot send PMs and dont have account on vogonsdrivers or vogonswiki. Also I'm a little bit unsure about wiki/drivers relation. Maybe manuals should be in wiki with link pointing to appropriate drivers page?

Apart from Side Jr L drivers I think the data does not yet exist in vogons. The Side driver disk in vogonsdrivers is same version as mine but the contents (JRL001.SYS) differ a little bit. I think the jrl001.sys size should be ~62kB

Here are the materials. Please whoever has an account upload them to vogonsdrivers and wiki. I will remove the google drive share after some months. PM (and admins can probably email also) if this has happened too soon.

I have run and printed the Wintach report in 1994 on my 486/66.

I apologise the lack of photos. This is because removing and reinserting old VLB cards on old mobos is not very pleasant.

Hi,

I don't see ATI Rage XL driver version 4.12.2647 or the mach64 VBE driver uploaded on vogonsdrivers, and I don't have permission to upload them.
The later windows ME drivers have graphics glitches.

https://easyupload.io/6bnb9n

I also found nvidia driver 29.57 along with some private PDB symbols.

Can someone upload these?

MB: ASRock B550 Steel Legend

Just a thought.
Have a section for datasheets and maybe schematics.

I realise it's not exactly the scope of the library, but think about it.

I've hunted down a bunch lately. Might be useful for people writing new drivers or tools.

I built:
Convert old ASUS ASC boardviews to KICAD PCB!
Re: A comprehensive guide to install and play MechWarrior 2 on new versions on Windows.
Dos+Windows 3.11+tcp+vbe_svga auto-install iso template
Script to backup Win9x\ME drivers from a working install
Re: The thing no one asked for: KICAD 440bx reference schematic

Hey all,

Recently acquired some old Suncom gameport joysticks/throttles and went hunting around for the drivers. I did see the F15 DOS drivers are up on the site, however the programming software didn't seem to be anywhere on the net. I even checked with the waybackmachine on the original suncominc.com site.

Luckily I found a seller nearby who had the original CD.

If anyone gets a chance please toss this up on the driver library.

Thanks!

Thanks! Any known limitations I should put in the description?
https://www.vogonsdrivers.com/getfile.php?fileid=2243

It is the same crap as all the other 2015PL drivers. I did not get it to improve performance.
Maybe I need a older HDD? I have both the VLB and PCI card with this chip, both behave the same.
