I'm running X-Wing in DOSBox on a Macbook Pro (via bootcamp/DOSBox for windows). The game seems to be playing just fine, but the sound is just a little bit choppy.

The CPU is set at 31500 cycles, and the frameskip is 0.

Is this a problem with my hardware, with DOSBox, or just with the game? I don't remember it sounding like this when I played it way back when, but it's been a while and I could be wrong.

Can someone help me fix this?

Try cycles max, with core dynamic. That's what I do and it works great.
