"LifeSize Sound Enhancer" is indeed an Activision-branded Covox - although I wonder why some games have it and Covox as separate devices?

Probably because the Covox option is for one of the Covox Sound Master boards, since the option is listed as "Covox board", and the Speech Thing is a dongle, not a card/board.

For what it's worth, the music that Maxis' SimAnt plays through a Covox or generic LPT DAC is unique to that device selection.

Megatraveller 1 is covox only (and PC speaker).
Just ordered a CVX4 to hear it for my playthough.

@Jo22
Thank you soooo much for providing this version of the game. Works great in DosBox... after I searched the web for almost 2 hours with no success.

Pinball Dreams 2 also has native covox support, I tested it on real hardware, it works.

There is also a native driver for games released by Sierra, you just have to copy it into the game directory and select covox with the install program. Tested under Jones at fast lane and works with 286.

Covoxer emulator works under 286 also Wolf3d and Another World works fine with it (also tested), about 8 games are supported by this emulator.

Temu needs 386 and is much more resource intensive.

The above drivers/emulators can be found here.
