Well...I shouldn't have said that, but if the VESA support is for the wrong graphics card, it could cause major problems with SVGA games, as either the information is written to the wrong I/O port, or the wrong information is being written. If this is the case, it would affect all or nearly all SVGA programs but is unlikely to affect standard VGA programs.
