Just released :
SF2 : a MIDI synthesizer that uses sf2 soundfont files
the software is based on MT32Pi, with a tweaked configuration for live performance
the hardware is based on Pi zero 2W + custom PCB

it can be used for as sf2 synth
also for mt32 emulation (if you provide the rom files on the sd card).

Connectors :

  • Standard DIN MIDI input
  • USB-C connector for power (for 5V 2A adapter)
  • 3.5mm stereo line out
  • Micro SD card slot

Received mine, and done some testings. Great device, as always.

Compared to the original MP32L, I really prefer this form factor.

Hi I did some further development, with a new SF2 panel
SF2 was intended to be used by musicians
I also made a new 'personality' for gamers : TM32
I will make a separate post for it

Both new panels use a trick i have been experimenting with, to create a good looking led glow logo.
--> see photo's, it looks even better in real life

TM32 will be the successor for MP32L
