Hi, so I've recently been trying to use a VisionRGB E1S to capture some old DOS and Windows games from a Pentium-based computer. I've been having some issues trying to capture a 640x480 signal however; it always ends up cut off at the bottom; leaving a black bar at the top. I tried to move the image up, however it stretches the last row of pixels (for lack of better words). I've tried different video cards and the issue seems to persist. The video tends to appear just fine on my VGA monitor, and all other resolutions (720x400, 320x200, etc.) work just fine with the capture card.
Anyone know what's going on? Is this a capture card issue or is it something to do with my motherboard? I typically use an S3 Virge/DX (although I used an ET4000 for these pictures) and my motherboard is a Gemlight GMB-P56IPS V1 (DTK PAM-0056I E1) if that helps.
