Don’t soak your Electronics in Water with Isopropyl Alcohol.
It will Destroy your PCB and electronics.
If you wash with this cleaning solution you should wash off with water within 15 minutes.

I cleaned these finally. Gold everywhere is changed. Even soldier joints and legs on things are shiny after a good cleaning.

I pretty much clean everything then enjoy looking at it a bit before testing and wrapping it up so it stays clean until I need it. I like a good before-and-after (especially with new parts). Share some here if you got any!

For electronics, pcbs and such these three has worked so far. Had no issue on metals and plastics. If one can afford it just get a big ultrasonic cleaner tub and use lots of isopropyl alcohol.

This "Zep" chemistry seems like regular domestic degreaser. Sometimes I use similar EU-branded thing to clean some very dirty and crusty PCBs (mostly motherboards), which don't fit into my ultrasonic bath device. Treated PCBs need a very good rinse with distilled water.

I really enjoy cleaning computer parts. Clean first, ask questions later, 🤣
Lots of these things say "broken", but nothing ever is. Not sure if it's the wash or their shitty test computer(s)/technique.
I usually get screwed buying the $10 PCI video cards (they say: "tested, good"). They NEVER work before OR after a wash. Only part(s) I test first, just to make sure being clean isn't a problematic variable. It is not...

I have two old videocards fixed from "blank/black screen" state to fully working condition just by giving them a good ultrasonic bath. Also one resurrected Audigy 2 ZS soundcard, which had all the signs of having been exposed to the elements for a long time when I got it. A good cleaning is proper starting point in old hardware repair jobs. I wish I had an ultrasonic bath device with bigger liquid container volume.
