Hi,

Recenlty I've repaired my FX 5700 ultra which had an broken FDD339 mosfet and an KA2 diode. Made sure thing else was broken (only chips in the 3 corners on the die). Replaced them and powered the card on.
The booting process was surprisingly smooth. No artifacting, no freezing. Then I launched 3dmark03 with no fuss. Then I did a reboot after the stress tests.
I was greeted with artifacting on the loading screen on XP. After sometime it went away, so I stress tested the card again. No issues. So I reboot again aaaand..... same artifacting.
I also noticed that the resolution settings weren't kept and the performance was kinda abysmal too (maybe because it's running on AGP 4X and an p4 1.8gHz?).

I am not sure what is the issue here, so I ask if anybody knows what might be the culprit? I can't run MODS/MATS cause this card is too old.
