I tried everything, but everytime I run Monkey Island (the first one) appears this message:
"No CD-Rom drive or MSCDEX not installed"
I have Windows XP. I know that this is a frequent problem, so excuse me if you have talked about it previously.

Install VDMS all inclusive!
With the launch pad you can change all stuff via mouse click!

Odds are that you're using the GUI Launchpad and just need to enable "Low-level CD-ROM support", but your best bet is to use the ScummVM engine:

BTW, next time, please post your specs (as stated in the Posting Guidelines at the top of each forum). All I could glean from your post was that you were using XP and some form of VDMSound. No hint as whether or not you were using the launchpad, etc...
