Hi!

I've just bought a new computer, and I wanted to try out all of my older games, mostly sierra ones. I've succeded in installing them, and everything seems to work perfectly, but the speech in the games aren't there!!!
What should I do?

I use XP, 2,6 GHz pentium 4, if that helps!
Can anyone help me out? (I'm not THE biggest computerfreak, so you'll have to explain it like you would to a ten year old...)
Thanx!

Have you installed VDMSound? Are you using "Run with VDMSound" from the right-click menu? Do you get any errors from the game(s) (and which games are those exactly), and do you get any music?

IIRC, most Sierra titles have a speed-sensitivity problem when used on any "fast" PC. You'll probably have to troubleshoot each title one-at-a-time. There's no single fix for all Sierra titles. For some it may mean using DosBox, others might need the GoSierra patch, some might work fine with a little tweaking...

Also remember, when possible, try running the Windows versions of these titles using all "Compatibility Mode" options.
