All admins on all tech forums hates female members,so I guess,this is the same & U r searching a surrogate reason to get rid of a female member.

So I guess,opinion polls r against the rules,but I have read them & I did not found any restriction on opinion poll-like topics,thus U changed the rules or I broke another-unwritten rule-being a women in a men-only club?
But deleting me for gender is against the rules of both Your & my country,thus U have to fabricate an another reason for deleting me.
Sure,if I would man,U would not attack me,nor the other 1,who attacked me for asking about SMR drives.
On some forums I tested this theory by creating 1 profile,where I did not hide my gender & then,after I was deleted,I created another profile,which not exposed my gender & that 1 was not deleted,even I behaved the same,exceptions was Computing.net & OldComp.cz ,which r the only forums,where I was never attacked for gender(but Computing.net somehow inaccessible @ all,probably EoL).
But maybe now with Trump ruling Your country again U r heading back to 1950s & thus misogyny will probably become legal soon there,so U will soon be able to delete me without pretending another deletion reason.
But with not punishing a man obviously braking the rules about despectful posts & punishing a women for nothing against the rules speaks clearly about the true reason of Your hatred.
By deleting me,which will sure occur within 5 mins from U read this,U r confirming,I am banned for gender,because I did not broke any written rule here.
If U updated the rules,U should send a message to all,that there is a new rule,for example ban on opinion-like topics.

As for me, I tend to like some newr-ish laptop designs. My current favorite as far as good looks go is the Lenovo IdeaPad Y500. But I just saved that from being trashed so I may be a bit biased.

For a newer that I have, it is an HP Elitebook x360 830 G7. A very good looking 2-in-1 that is great for taking with me when I don't want to lug a heavy beast of a laptop around.

Pentium 1 era:

You cannot sue for discrimination. These are all private platforms. Yes a forum owner can ban everyone and anyone for any reason.

I also saved from trash most of my laptops & I love the old squared/pointy designs,I also very love Siemens Nixdorf PCD3Nsl & PCD3Nsx/20,but ThinkPads topped this design.

To answer the poll... I do find the Thinkpad X40/X41 very cute and pretty laptops.
However, to me a laptop's beauty has to be a combination of form and function. And the X4x series had significant functional downsides.

I think that for legacy machines - I would single out the Thinkpad T60. Although it was released after the Lenovo acquisition, it was clearly still designed in the IBM time frame, and draws heavily on classic T4x looks. However, it brings important advantages such as dual core processors (not an IBM/Lenovo contribution, but still), Windows key on the keyboard (finally!), slightly better selection of ports, and, in my opinion, a cleaner and more symmetric design.
The Z61t Thinkpads would be second in my book. They are even prettier than T60, but have more functional compromises. The next couple of generations (T61/T400/T500) are really ugly.

For more modern Thinkpads - I have to choose the Thinkpad 25th Anniversary Edition. I'm heavily biased towards the classic 7-row keyboard layout, and cannot stand all modern machines, Thinkpads included, which dropped that feature. The Thinkpad 25 is a modern T470 with a 7-row keyboard, which makes it look even better, IMO. Despite the clear technological deficiencies (limited to dual core CPU and FHD display), it provides a unique and useful selection of ports and features.

If it hadn't been for my clear, undying preference for 7-row keyboards, I would probably choose the X1 Carbon 5th/6th generation for their looks and amazing combination of form and function. I once posted a comparison, complete with photos, between the three models:

I just read your replies. My advice to you - don't go into the whole political wormhole of accusing the moderators of wanting to ban you for gender, race, ideology, whatever. This leads nowhere, and seems to me very untrue. First, I don't think anyone wants to ban you or delete your account/posts.

Thanks also to everyone, who supported me in that Witch-process,the admin is running against me.
All except those 2,who attacked me,r invited to spent a gaming vacation with my Silicon Pets,as I call my computers.
Those,who had such a brave to risk Your own profiles by openly supporting me against an almighty admin,who can punish anyone,who supported me & who stood against his discriminative behavior,will also have free food during Your vacation.
The entry & gaming is always free,because of laws about freeware & abandonware & because I am a Vulcan-Hippie.

You're not the first person to get chastised for posting style here.

All internet forums tend to have unwritten norms in terms of posting style, behaviors, etc. It can take time to learn these things as a new user.

One of my first posts on VOGONS, I got chastised for posting in the wrong subforum. The key is not to take it personally, learn from it and move on.

The worst downside of X40 is,it cannot boot from a CF card in PCMCIA,I wished to put DOS there not just a multiboot, but also as a backup OS for the case,the 1.8" HDD would die & I would not get a replacement.
The lack of Start button on IBM ThinkPads is,what I really like,when I am playing DOS games on Win32,You sure know,why.
On the other hand it is not very practical to not have Ctrl in lower left corner,because most of us is pressing it instinctively & await it there,so the unusual placement of Ctrl may get You into a pit...
