Hello everyone. Just wondering if I could get some help with an issue that I have with my x 2 Vooddoo 2's - Diamond Multimedia.
The cards themselves are like new, I guess they've seen very little use, however, I have this colouring issue when playing Diablo 2.
It only seems to affect when there's "fire" on the screen, in game.
What I've tried: different drivers, different pass-through cables, connecting the monitor to the voodoo card directly, tested on 3 different motherboards - 2 with intel chipsets, one VIA, same result.
Now before I start reflowing things and possibly mucking something up, perhaps someone here has experienced this before and knows what the cause may be.
I've attached a picture with the issue.
Thanks.

Is the issue still present with SLI disabled, on any one of the cards?

Yes, the issue is still present when only one card is used, on both cards. However, not as pronounced. Both cards present the exact same issue. I think it's hardware related, a cold solder joint somewhere maybe...

Voodoo2 can get into a color overflow when you raise the gamma slider too much.

Seems strange that both cards would have the same hardware fault. Tested a different cable or monitor? tested with test software of some kind, test the colour palette.

@leileilol - haven't changed anything really, it's all at default.
@Joachim - tested with 3 different cables, voodoo connected straight to monitor as well to eliminate that cause completely. CRT and LCD both show same issue. I'll search for software to test colour palette.
