I obtained a 41cv sometimes ago. I haven't put much effort into it, not sure if it'll even run. The thing is I cannot figure out how to open the battery pack. I was told it would be obvious, but it's anything but. A German guy with a website says it needs to be sawn apart, or sawn open. Anyone know?

These photos show the original HP battery pack for E90/N 1.5 volt cells. To remove the pack, you just push up on the battery pack toward the display (on front)/Serial No. (on back) end of the case.

Perhaps your unit has a third-party case, but no sawing is required with original equipment.

The pack is removed from the calculator. I need to replace the batteries.
