Hi all.
Just getting a Windows 98 PC build up and running and having some issues installing the chipset drivers for the motherboard.
I have a FIC AM39L which I believe uses the VIA KM400 chipset, I have tried to install the software and it fails every time. I have the v524 driver set and when I run the installer it says the install has been interrupted and the system has not been updated.
I haven't got any anti-virus running and have so far barely installed anything. I have tried installing in Safe Mode and got the same message.
In Device Manager I have unidentified listings for -
Standard PCI Graphics Adapter (VGA)
PCI Ethernet Controller
PCI Multimedia Audio Device
PCI Universal Serial Bus (x2)
Am I using the wrong files? Any suggestions on getting these elements rectified?
Thanks!
