Hello all! I have already found many answers to my old computer problems on this forum, so I went ahead and registered. I've been in front of a keyboard since my parents bought a Commodore 64 back in 1983, I was about 8 years old or so. I was once very active in the BBS scene (313 area code) and enjoyed the old stuff. We have LAN Parties and have a lot of fun playing in person with different hardware from the XP era. I've recently started getting into older computers, especially ones from the 90's, Pentium and above because I remember when most of hardware was brand new. It is awesome to look back on where we came from, doing things like loading files on a floppy disk and sneakernet them to the other computer. All great times and good ways to spend time.

I'm also one of those keyboard nuts, I love Model Ms with the buckling springs. I have a couple of 1986 Ms, along with a 1986 Industrial cased M that Unicomp transplanted that I use for a daily driver. I use a Unicomp New Model M at work and yes, it is loud.

Anyway, thank you for all the years of posts. Google has brought me here multiple times when I am planning builds or figuring out problems.
