Hi there,

I'm trying to get Pinball Dreams 1 (later release, the one with the SETSOUND.EXE program and Hi-res graphics configurable via F5) to run on real hardware.
For more information on the different versions of Pinball Dreams for DOS, look at the last post in this thread:
Running pinball dreams on older hardware issues

Well, it's not hardware from back in the day, it's a Tinyllama V2 computer based around the Vertex86 EX SOM.

-After setting the correct sound card (Crystal CS4237B sound chip on the TinyLlama is SBPro-compatible) the game starts, but hangs with a black screen after the logo, with the menu music playing.
The music keeps playing nicely, but there's nothing on screen and the controls don't respond.

-The game does NOT use EMS, so it should run with no problems at all on the Tinyllama.

-I have tried disabling caches, leaving only 4MB of XMS memory free, not loading HIMEM.SYS, not loading EMM386, etc...

-Pinball Fantasies works nicely!

-The original Pinball Dreams release also runs perfectly well!

So, has anybody tried the later release on real DOS hardware? Does it work for you?
