Hello vogons,
I used to use discord for many years to hook up with retro enthusiasts about getting old games to work, but I left over their new policies of id verification. They used to use the honor system and if a person said they were 18+ that was it caveat emptor. but now they are requiring users to upload passports and ids for actual verification. The indiviual servers required this for accessing NSFW channels but I dont see the point if the user claimed they were 18+. I was thinking of teamspeak and ventrillo but they are in the same boat being a central software service.
Perhaps mumble dot info (software) might be better looking nowadays.
