Just joined and saw this post. I've got 3 Prolinea/Presario 486 units and would be interested in modules for them if any are available or if another run is done of them at some point. My prolinea 4/50 was the first computer I ever had and it took some time to find one in usable shape. I love it but it does lag behind my other 486 machines without L2 cache. I've been looking for modules for a few years and just happened to stumble onto this thread today so I thought I would comment. Thank you for the time and effort to add this part to the retro community!

Thank you for the cache module, recently arrived, can't wait to plug it in for a test. At this moment I'm enjoying the Victoria day long weekend, since I'm full time devices tech. In meantime, doing nothing.

Cheers,

Great Northern aka Canada.

Hi Sander,
I'm not entirely sure if you were the user who wrote to me on "Kleinanzeigen". I've been looking for the cache module there for a long time. Someone (maybe you) wrote to me there and suggested to follow this Vogons thread. Unfortunately, messages on Kleinanzeigenare automatically deleted, and I lost track of it. Today I remembered it again, and what can I say? The project is a complete success.
Is it still possible to order one of the modules?

Yes, of course. Please use the following form.

Just picked up a Compaq Prolinea MT 4/66 and am super pleased with the amount of work I'll need to put in and how much it will pay off based on my experience in the 90s with its cousin (Presario 866) and all the reviews here.

The project to buld this board is incredible and the only hope for most of us. The order form appears offline. Is there a waiting list?
