As I said before it seems to be a "RAVE" issue. Please verify this with quake1.
Quake1 has a normal unaccelerated macversion, an early RAVE version (that is also quite brown/red) and a later OpenGL version.

DeusEX seems to suffer from that issue too, but Tombraider/Unreal are not affected. Not sure about Rune though.

I sort of agree that it is likely a RAVE issue but then again software rendering in Deus Ex has the same red tint...

I'll have to dig out Quake and take a look.

It looks the same in software rendering with Deus Ex. Its weird that its pink in rave and software.

Perhaps something with 16Bit/32Bit...accelerated RAVE was 16Bit only? So colors are mapped wrong?
