Guys,
My 1990’s Retro Computers are Online and Ready to Surf the Internet with HTMl 2.0 friendly websites.
I am using Ethernet network cards connected to WIFI extenders and Gigabit High Speed internet service.
I am in Silicon Valley California , USA and I can Surf the World with My Retro computers.
We could only Wish for this type of internet connectivity back in 1990’s.

Original Macintosh Color Classic
16mhz Motorola CPU
8mb RAM
Apple Ethernet network card
500mb Quantum SCSI harddrive ( upgrade from original 170mb harddrive )
OS - System 7.5
Netscape 3.0

PC
Intel 486dx4-100
16mb RAM
3com 3c509b network card
IDE CF card, SanDisk Extreme 4gb.
OS - Win 3.11 / Win95
I.E. 5.0

you can use http://z00m.ws/ - its still HTTP! ))

Used to search for years using HotBot - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HotBot - until Google got big. The search results from HotBot/Inktomi were generally better than the other search sites I tried at the time.

Guys, “This is like landing on the Moon”

Back in the 1990’s we could only Dream about having Gigabit Fiber High Speed internet at home.
Today in USA its Everywhere.

These Retro computers were built with 14.4 Dial up modems internet connections.

I remember using that too, and trying out more at the time - it was an interesting time!

i even remember when altavista.digital.com was the way to use that search engine

and also the various directories to which even amateur websites could be added, in the appropriate category

oh, and webrings too! 😀
