Hi,

I REALLY need some help, for what I'm sure is a very simple problem, probably just something I'm doing wrong.

I downloaded VDMSound, because I was having trouble getting sound to work for Duke3d and Descent 2 under a Win 2000 Pro platform.

Now I still can't get sound to work, AND the game itself now "freezes" really badly, before it even finishes loading!!!!

Descent 2 is worse: Get this......

"It tells me that I need to put in the CD in order for it to run, so I put in the CD, and IT STILL WON'T LOAD"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am ready to take an axe to my computer. Please help me before I explode.

Oy. Dude, #1, these have been covered over, and over, and over, and over, and over. USE THE SEARCH. #2, you gave no system specs. READ THE POSTING GUIDELINES. Please do those two things and then if you're STILL having problems come back and post again.
