So, this was the Supermicro P4SBA board with P4 Willamette at 1.9GHz and seems like the whole thing suffered a massive power failure in the past, which probably fried a bunch of motherboard components and whatever was hooked up to it. Since it wasn't very usable, i tried to flash bios from https://www.supermicro.com/support/bios/archive.cfm by first loading DOS 6.22 from the USB floppy and then swapping it for another floppy with the flashing utility and the image. Now we have a checksum error accompanied by intense beeping, at which point I think the board is bricked. Two questions: is it bricked and how to even begin to unbrick and what other 478 socket board would you recommend?
