Okay, I'm using a Windows Vista Home Basic operating system. It's a Dell, model Inspiron I1521, using an AMD Turion 64X2 Mobile technology TL-50 1.60GHz processor. It has 1918 MB of RAM and a 32 bit operating system. For visuals, I'm using an ATI Radeon X1270 card. For sound, a SigmaTel High definition audio codec.

I'm having issues with getting Simcity 2000 to run via DOSbox. It is the dosbox version and I keep getting this error message: "The video card you have selected is not found. Please reinstall, and verify that your video card is supported."

I typed install into the dosbox and it took me into a settings modification area for Simcity 2000, where it gave me the option to change the videocard I wanted to use to run the game. Unfortunately for me, my graphics card was DEFINITELY not listed. It only gave me a list of really old graphics card and I can't seem to get it to recognize mine. Advice?

There should be a generic VESA driver in there or an S3 one. Try those.

Your video card wouldn't be in there because you are running the game in DOSBox which is an emulator which emulates it's own video card.

How will I know which one is the generic one?

Usually check for VESA or VBE2 or something like that.
