Hi,

i have a Debian on a Arm926 with a 2.6.24 Kernel but without Framebuffer support.
Is there a possibility to run or compile Dosbox to work without Framebuffer suppport? I only want to run 80186 Code. I only need stdout for debug output, no graphics no sound or other special things.

tricky. you would have to modify dosbox for that. or maybe run a virtual X server

thanks for your response.

Can you give me a hint where to start? I guess SDL is the lib which uses the framebuffer device. For what is SDL used in dosbox?
