I have what i believe is a Audician 32, which i am unable to get Sound Blaster compatibility in some sierra’s game (King Quest 1 vga, Longbow). It works if i choose Adlib but i will get an error if i choose Sound Blaster). So i could get music with Adlib but not the digital sound effects because the option in the install is states as Sound Blaster/Adlib. I can get sound in Windows 3.1 perfectly.

Is it configuration issue or this is hardware fault ?

What resources do you have configured for your card? i.e. IRQ, DMA, etc. If you're relying on PnP then the PC might be assigning resources that games won't work with.

Also what PC are you running these games on? If it's the Pentium 133 in your sig then speed could be an issue, some older games fail to initialise SB if the PC is running too fast.
