Nahh, I've tried it several times, as well as different combinations, and nothing happens. Is the screen supposed to light up if it works? Is there anything in the manual about it? I have a PDF version, but I've not been able to find anything.

Yes the display will turn on for a few seconds showing the version then turn off.

Okay. I'll keep trying every so often, but nothing has come on so far. I've tried different button combinations as well.

Yeah, it's really, really, really hard... I get it once every 15 times I try (no kidding).

I got it! 😁 That has to be the most convoluted way of finding out a device's firmware ever. >_< I had to try pressing all four buttons is rapid succession to get it to work. But yes, it's version 1.21. So it looks like it's the latest and won't need flashing after all. Thank God.
