Hello again, I recently posted in the general PC sub and thankfully through others help I was able to get the OS installed on my WIN95 PC build (Win95 OSR2.1).

Initially I had a Matrox MIL/2N installed to get everything up and running but Id like to add my 3D accelerator which is an Obsidian 2 S-12 PCI (a voodoo 2 SLI on one card).

When I hook it up to the Matrox it passes video through just fine, but I went to install the drivers from the CD and all I get are the basically 2 apps on the disc. (GDETECT and GMOJO)

GDETECT just shows some information about the two graphics cards installed (The Matrox and the Obsidian) and their addresses? GMojo seems like it would be the "driver" but it just comes up with a prompt that says "No Graphics Device Found". So Im pretty sure there's no Drivers working at all for the Obsidian.

Is anyone here familiar with these cards? Are there maybe more generic voodoo/SLI drivers or better Quantum3D drivers to use? I have DX7.0a installed.

I am extremely grateful for any help. Thank you!

Obsidian 2 S-12 PCI is not a Voodoo2 SLI on one card. Those are X16/X24/200SB/200SBi.
GDETECT and GMOJO are utilities, not drivers. There is no setup utility. If you haven't already, find the card in the device manager, update driver and point it to the driver folder. Also, there should be a README file on the driver CD:

A. Windows 95 OSR 2
--------------------
Follow the procedure below to install the drivers and utilities for
the Obsidian2 S-Series.
1. Start Windows 95.
2. Windows 95 will detect a "PCI Multimedia Video Device" and
display the Update Device Driver Wizard.
NOTE: Windows 95 will detect the Obsidian2 S-12 AGPTV as a
PCI Multimedia Video Device. This is normal and expected.
3. Insert the Obsidian2 Installation CD into the CD-ROM drive
and click on the Next button.
4. The Update Device Wizard will search for updated device drivers
for the Obsidian2 and will prompt for other locations.
5. Click on the Other Locations button. The Select Other Location
dialog will appear.
6. In the Location field enter X:\WIN95 (where X is the drive letter
for the CD-ROM drive). Click on the OK button.
7. Windows 95 will detect a Quantum3D Obsidian2 3D Graphics Card.
Click on the Finish button.
8. You may be prompted again to insert the "Obsidian2(tm) Consumer
Series Installation CD" or the "Obsidian2(tm) Consumer Series
Windows 95/98 Driver Disk". Click on the OK button.
9. At the Copy Files dialog, specify X:\WIN95 (where X is the letter
of the CD-ROM drive) in the "Copy files from" field and click on
the OK button. Windows 95 will copy the Obsidian2 device drivers
to your hard drive.
NOTE: If you have installed two Obsidian2 S-12 PCITV accelerators
in an SLI configuration, you will be prompted twice to restart
the computer. DO NOT restart the computer. Click on the NO
button each time. Windows 95 will detect another PCI Multimedia
Video Device, recognize it as a Quantum3D Obsidian2 3D Graphics
Card and will automatically install the drivers for it. When you
are prompted again to restart the computer, click on the Yes
button.
10. You will then be prompted to restart the computer.
Click on the Yes button.

B. Windows 95
-------------
Follow the procedure below to install the drivers and utilities for
the Obsidian2 S-Series.
1. Start Windows 95.
2. Windows 95 will detect a "PCI Multimedia Video Device" and
display the "New Hardware Found" dialog.
3. Select the "Driver from disk provided by hardware manufacturer"
option and click on the OK button.
4. Insert the Obsidian2 Installation CD into the CD-ROM drive.
5. At the Install from disk dialog, specify X:\WIN95 (where X is
the letter of the CD-ROM drive) in the "Copy manufacturer's
files from" field and click on the OK button. Windows 95 will
copy the Obsidian2 device drivers to your hard drive.
NOTE: If you have installed two Obsidian2 S-12 PCI accelerators
in an SLI configuration, you will be prompted twice to restart
the computer. DO NOT restart the computer. Click on the NO
button each time. Windows 95 will detect another PCI Multimedia
Video Device, recognize it as a Quantum3D Obsidian2 3D Graphics
Card and will automatically install the drivers for it. When you
are prompted again to restart the computer, click on the Yes
button.
6. You will then be prompted to restart the computer.
Click on the Yes button.

You should also be able to install the generic 3dfx Voodoo2 reference drivers instead of the Q3D drivers.

I feel so dumb, I don't know why I was confusing the Obsidian cards, I think its because I was reading about the other SLI one vs what I had (purchased it a while ago and had forgotten about it until building this pc) I followed your instructions and Ive got it seen under Windows now. Working with 95 is very foreign to me so thank you so much!

Glad you got it working, have fun with it!

I don't know what driver version you have, but if you want the latest Q3D one, you can grab it from here:
https://3dfxarchive.com/quantum.htm
It's the V6C (where C stands for consumer). The ones with P in the name are for the professional cards, and won't work on consumer cards like the S-12 (they will install just fine, but throw a stupid "No Voodoo2 found" error when trying to do anything with it).
