Today marks the 25th anniversary of the Kyro graphics card (PowerVR series 3) being announced by STMicroelectronics at Computex 2000 in Taipei.

I had planned to have a complete series of articles ready to commemorate the occassion, however work, life etc. meant I didn't get as far as I wanted. So instead I'm publishing the parts that are more or less complete, and will finish the rest (and the site!) as and when I can... maybe just in time for the Kyro II 25th anniversary next March!

This is so cool! I love that you rebuilt the old website! It looks vaguely familiar to me. I'm sure I must have checked it out back in the day when I was contemplating whether to get a Voodoo 5 5500 (despite the rumors of 3dfx's imminent demise) or a Geforce 2 GTS.
