Nice benchmarks Agent_x007. You currently have the highest scores for 2k1 and 2k3.

I found a 775 to 478 adapter

🤔

Think this could help make some records?

A socket 478 in an LGA775 board? How would that challenge LGA775 Netburst cpus at 4+ ghz? 🤔

If it's dual it's kind of cool ... 😎

I guess there was a netburst EE in 775? Forgot about that.

Oh, you were thinking about putting a Gallatin in a 775 board?

Lol, I don’t even have windows on the rig yet haha.

Think I can get a geforce 1060 working on a p4 3.4 presshot with 915 chipset under windows xp? Or will I need windows 7? Or will that gpu’s driver even support p4?

First apologies for digging up this old thread if it's dead, anyway it's been a while since I played around with any of my P4 systems and I remember posting some benchmarks here before. This is the fastest socket 478 CPU I have.

EDIT - II'll see if I can squeak a few more mhz out of the CPU with some overclocking.

Specs:
Intel Pentium 4 3.40
Asus P4C800-E Deluxe
Quadro 3000 256MB AGP (V56.64 drivers)
512MB DDR400 (2x256 Hynix modules)
SB Audigy
Windows ME
120GB Lexar SSD

Results:
3dmark2000 - 19649
3dmark2001 - 16186
3dmark2003 - 5475

So my 3.40 boots right up at 3570 (a mild 5% overclock) and it doesn't make much of a difference in 3dmark2000.

It's getting late here so I'm going to head to bed, but will return to this tomorrow afternoon after I make a backup copy of this install.

EDIT - Ran 2001 and 2003 today.
16253 in 2001SE
5487 - 2003

couple years ago i did pass on a freebie (Intel D850GB + P4 1.4) and let it go to recycle. Deal with it

i dont want anything Netburst even if its free. I only saved some samples to test motherboards.

Good stuff!

I just added my 2001 and 2003 scores with the overclocked CPU to my previous post.
