I kept getting error 35 with DOS4GW running simcity 2000 on my 486 with ESS sound card set to irq7 and 16mb of ram and 486dx2 66.

I downloaded DOS32A v 1.97 (version I found on archive.org) and copied it to the sc2000 directory. I then deleted DOS4GW and renamed DOS32A to DoS4gw. Still did not work and froze.

Renamed is back to dos32a and ran SB /u sc2k.exe. Still didn’t work. Ran SB /r sc2k.exe and still freezes when the DOS32A loader starts.

I’m sure I am messing up the process. Any help?

Figured it out! I have a Mach32 graphics card so had to run artist.exe before starting the game (it’s already in the game directory by default) and that worked
