Hello all,
I am troubleshooting from days this Soltek mvp3 card.
It is a very good one, with ATA66 selectable FSB at 133mhz, all caps around socket and clockgen changed.

Problem is that it seems to be incredible picky with video cards.

No matter what OS (98, 2000 or xp), it seems that only those two cards properly work:

- voodoo 3000
- Asus v7700 deluxe (geforce2 GTS).

Other cards install ok without issues but all show no agp texture acceleration on dxdiag and so no 3d application will start.

Tried:

Ati 9250
Ati 9500
Nvidia 440mx
NVidia 5900xt with ext power
Nvidia 5700

All vga works ok on other systems of course.
Installed for all OS dx9 november2007 (latest without sse support, to be super safe).
To be fair, with WinXP, the 9250 does work with native xp drivers only.

I tried all combinations of 4in1 drivers, forcing xp also to use old ones as suggested by Phil….
Nothing

There is no option in the bios to set agp to x1 and if I do that on smartgart panel for ati, nothing changes.

Playing with aperture size doesn’t change anything.

Suggestions?
