The Matrox-driver for Win9x has a monitor-setup where you can configure every resolution,
but the dos-games ignore that, they rely on the monitor that is set in dos-mode.
There was an utily-program to install and configure that. I think that solved the issue.

Does Screemer 2 and Screamer Rally work with MSI api on Matrox Millennium II ? I have black screen on that card, but maybe there is somthing wrong on my system.
On my tests of Matrox Millennium II under DOS it runs fine this MSI games:
-Tomb Rider
-UEFA 97

Under Windows with MSI Api works fine:
-Croc (1.0 release, no dx3d support)

So far best Windows 95 driver for me is retail one from 1997 CD -4.03. No bugs in older titles like Dungeon Keeper, Colin McRae Rally, Frogger. On the other side newer games will require final driver (Airport Inc. For example).
